About Us

David Shaw
Born in Utah but grew up in my younger years in Northern California in the bay area. Moved back to Utah and lived in Idaho, Washington, Alabama and South Carolina. I am a widower having lost two wives in the past 11 years. I have 3 children, 8 grandchildren , 4 step children and 9 other step grandchildren.

I have been active all my life working in radio from the time I was 16 years old. I worked for a number of radio stations throughout the country in the different area we have lived. I first became a disc jockey while in high school working at KOVO Radio in Provo, Utah. I have worked in radio and done narration for different organizations over the years.

Bill and I co-hosted a radio show called the “Golden Oldies” who weekday evenings on KOVO, the same station I worked for years earlier. I love recording our weekly program and enjoy featuring some of the greatest artists of all time.

Bill Hanson
Grew up in Michigan. Currently living in Lehi, Utah. Married 4 years ago to wife, Marybeth. We were high school sweethearts and just found each other again after 60 years. Combined we have 13 children, 42 Grandchildren and 15 Great-grandchildren.

Active in music all my life. Played in the high school band and orchestra. Became a disc jockey in college, spinning records for youth dances as “Dancin’ with Hanson” for a few years. Sang in a men’s choral group in College and later as both vocalist and announcer for a 160-voice touring choir in Michigan. Past radio
announcer, narrator, and “Disc Jockey”.

Since moving to Utah, co-hosted the “Golden Oldies” show with Dave weekday evenings on KOVO, a then-prominent AM radio station in Provo, Utah. Very glad to be back involved in the presentation of the music I grew to love.
